COMPANIES THAT SUCK AT WHAT THEY DO

The first major issue I had with Go Daddy was being assigned multiple accounts under the same name (social security number/private information etc.).  I purchased domain names as well as hosting services and they told me there was a flaw in there computer system and that account linking had been an issue in the past.  So after getting fed up with sorting this issue out (took hours) and the fact that I was forced to have multiple accounts with multiple passwords, account numbers blah blah (the last thing I need in life is to try and remeber more passwords and account #’s) I decided to cancel all my automatic renewel subscriptions (I even had one support guy tell me they never setup multi accounts despite others in the company already confirming this happened and having verifiable paypal proof).  I made a call to the support and thought this was taken care off.  A few months later most likely due to the multi account issue I get another email saying an automatic renewel for a service had taken place (this was on thursday) and due to being very busy and out of town I did not call about stopping payment until I think the next Tuesday.  They informed me that you can only reverse charges during a set period (I think 5 days).  I explained to them that I had been on vacation and busy and that I honestly did not think weekend days counted torwards this expiration period to cancel an automatic payment.  The support guy said tuff luck and that Go Daddy recognizes weekends as buiness days because they are open.  I talked again to a manager and he said they were keeping my money due to the policy.  I canceled my remaining services and told them this policy not only was unfair but bad business since they were giving up like a couple hundred bucks in business and goodwill a year over a $12 service item.  They still did not care.  A few days ago (about 6 months after trying desperately and hours on the phone to remove Go Daddy from my life) I yet still get another email saying an automatic renewel is approaching.  A few more hours on the phone and I think, hope and pray I will never have to deal with Go Daddy ever ever ever ever again but only time will tell :(

 

Go Daddy Sucks at what they do and could care less about there customers despite what they preach over and over again.
