BOOKS I AM READING/READ

So to become a better person and hopefully writer I have decided that reading more is a way to accomplish these goals.  I love books and reading so that always helps as well.  I love to purchase and search for obscure books.  So the first book I will read and review is one called:

1.  The Right Answer

by James A. Decker Published in 1967 by Doubleday & Company Inc. 96 pages

The cover reads- There is a Way Out of Limitation.. a Method for Achieving Happiness..  a Road to Health and Wholeness..

Review- Just finished the book (took me about 4 days to read).  It starts off slow and not that great.  The book tries to center around 4 key words (Invitation, Inspiration, Ideation and Incubation).  The middle and end pick up and I enjoyed both.  The book becomes less about the key words and obscure concepts and the writing improves and the topics are creative and powerful.  The books main point is that we can change anything to result in all the positive possible.  A solid read and I would recommend it to anyone as it will not bore and will not hurt.  There are essentially a lot of positive ways and techniques to use in life and that can not be a waste of time for anyone.  The guy is a decent writer to and I learned a couple of new words to put in my arsenal.

So the second book I will read is:

2.  Treasure

by Edwin Louis Cole Published in 2001 by Watercolor Books 92 pages

The cover reads- Uncovering Patterns & Principals That Create Prosperity.

This book was very motivational.  It was light and informative read similiar to the first book.  Much like the first as well it talked a lot about the power of positive thinking and how we are in charge of our own fate.  It teaches and shows how you can use a lot of different values and qualities to mange your way through life.  It is a good read with powerful outlooks and unique perspectives on how to be succesful in life.  I like the quick thoughts and noting at the end of each chapter.

So the third book I will read is:

3.  JESUS CEO

by Laurie Beth Jones Published in 1995 by Hyperion 318 pages

The cover reads- Using Ancient Wisdom for Visionary Leadership
